“The Lost Continent” features the Kanun, a traditional Middle Eastern stringed instrument – known in Greece since the ancient times with an immense presence in the traditional music of Asia Minor – as its centrepiece, and draws inspiration from various cultures and regions, including the Levantine area, Greece, Turkey, North Africa and the Middle East.
